The Friendly Dive Store
Go Dive was first established in 1992 by Mark Hudson a Derby-based PADI instructor and wreck author. The store was originally opened to support the PADI training school that was already well established and is still at the heart of Go Dive. Since 1992 the business has continually grown and the store has moved location many times to reflect this growth. We settled in our current location in 2008. Go Dive has always taken pride in being more than just a retailer; we work with brands, individuals and of course customers; to develop the best range, delivery and services in the diving market place.

In 2018 a new partnership between Mark and Alison James and James Parsons took over the ownership and running of the shop, online sales and training. Our passion for diving, and delivering the best products, training and experiences, is reflected in the Go Dive team and the brands we stock. We aim to give as many people as possible the choice to access diving. You have our commitment as fellow divers that you will be satisfied with Go Dive.
Mark and Alison also run MSDS Marine, a commercial dive company, and they bring a wealth of specialist knowledge to the business. James co-owner and store manager, had fifteen-years prior experience working at Go Dive and continues to provide a friendly face in the shop and provide his in-depth knowledge to ensure customers can buy with confidence. Jon, the Head Technician offers the high standard of equipment servicing that customers have come to expect, the team are also joined in the shop by Mark W, a PADI instructor with over 15 years diving experience. Paul is responsible for the training school and the 20+ Instructors and Divemasters who have helped Go Dive become a leading supplier of diver education and SCUBA equipment for the UK.

The store has grown over the years to become the largest dive shop in the UK with modern showroom and workshops close to J25 of the M1 on the border of Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire.
Go Dive stock equipment from all the main suppliers of SCUBA equipment including: Apeks, Scubapro, Aqua Lung, Fourth Element, Suunto, Otter Drysuits, X Deep, Cressi, Hollis, A.P.Valves, Oceanic, Typhoon, Faber, Luxfer and many more.
Go Dive also have a lively club scene with a variety of UK dive trips, overseas trips and social events throughout the year. Our club night /pool sessions are always busy and are open to everyone, regardless of training organisation! See our dive club paged for further information.

We are lucky enough to have a large fully stocked showroom that Is easily accessible from the M1 and only 40 minutes from Stoney Cove.
We may have a large showroom but we are still small enough to care! Every single one of our team helps us ensure that our customers get the service we would want ourselves.
Our team has knowledge of all sectors of the diving industry; from recreation and training to commercial diving and servicing we will have someone on the team to help answer any questions you may have.
Training is very important to all the team at Go Dive and we are proud to be a 5* PADI Instructor Development Centre. We offer all levels of diver training to help you on your diving adventure from beginner to PADI Professional and beyond.
Regular servicing of your diving equipment is important to ensure safe and reliable performance and to ensure the equipment lasts as long as possible. We will ensure that your equipment is properly maintained and ready for your next underwater adventure wherever that may be.
