FOURTH ELEMENT HALO 3D UNDERSUITOur warmest undergarment, equivalent to a 400g thinsulate with less bulk due to body-mapped insulation and strategically placed compression-resistant Spacetek material in key exposure areas to maximise insulation when diving in horizontal trim.
The Halo 3D from Fourth Element is revolutionary in terms of undersuit technology. When swimming in a horizontal position the air in the drysuit is at the highest point, your back and thighs, this means that the undersuit covering your front is compressed. By using 8mm SpaceTek compression resistant panels in strategic locations on the front of the torso, thighs and shoulders there is a consistent layer of air over the front of the diver. Three layers of high density fleece ensure excellent thermal protection for the whole body especially the back, kidneys buttocks and hamstring.
Using a simple, functional, design the Halo 3D has a lower profile around the hips and midriff unlike other all in one undersuits. Less bulk around the middle section gives better freedom of movement whilst still adding extra layers of thermal protection where it is most required. The Halo 3D can be combined with other Fourth Elements such as Drybase, Xerotherm or for extremely harsh environments Arctics.
The Halo 3D also includes subtle design choices such as thumb loops so the arms of the Halo 3D do not ride up when putting on the suit. A small valuables pocket on the right arm is perfect for storing car keys or other small items during the diver. There is also a small hole for the routing of a p-valve in each leg depending on the users preference. This hole is not fully open as not all users will use a p-valve with their Halo 3D, the hole can be carefully cut open by the user.
