Introduction to the Peak Performance Buoyancy Speciality

We are often surprised at how much excess weight divers carry.

The PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy course will help you address this. This, in turn, will protect reefs, improve your dive times and protect your valuable equipment. This course will add polish to the buoyancy skills you learned on your Open Water Diver course, taking them to a new level.

During the course over 1 day (2 dives) you will learn:

  • How to trim your equipment so that you are perfectly balanced in the water.
  • Accurate determination of weight, so you’re not too light or too heavy by even a slight amount.
  • How to streamline yourself to save air and move smoothly through the water.
  • How to hover effortlessly in both a vertical position and a horizontal position.
