The XDeep Ghost is a lightweight wing ideal for travel. Weighing in at just over 2kg, complete with aluminium backplate & aluminium single tank adaptor as standard. It has been designed to allow the diver to gain the perfect trim underwater. Wing systems for recreational diving have a reputation for pushing you face down at the surface, not the GHOST.
The upper part of the wing is intentionally smaller than other single cylinder wings to prevent you being pushed forwards. The GHOST maximises its small size but significant lift of over 17 litres of buoyancy. The design ensures that just about all the BCD lift is kept underwater when you are upright at the surface. The XDeep Ghost is available in styles of harness, standard 1 piece or deluxe harness (with padded shoulders and Q/R buckles) and also available in 2 sizes of backplate, small or large (depending on height) you can also add quick-release weight pockets too!
One of our Instructors, Mark, has owned an XDeep Ghost since September 2018. Mark has the deluxe harness version with quick-release weight pockets and says: “The ghost is really nice to dive with. It gives great trim and holds me really nicely in the water. It’s light, great for travel and uncomplicated and clutter-free. I use it whilst diving in a drysuit too, and gives me plenty of lift on the surface. I got the deluxe harness version, so it’s easy to get in and out of. I also added the weight pockets because I don’t like wearing weight belts.”
